Hi,

I own an authentec fingerprint sensor. I've read everywhere that
thinkfinger doesn't support this sensor, ok. But is it planned ?

I've downloaded a binary (usbrunner) which generates an image of my
fingerprints in black and white and write the file to the disk, the
missing parts being the integration with bioapi and PAM. I guesss all
this code for these parts has already been made by your team, so
supporting authentec in thinkfinger shouldn't be that hard or do I
miss something ?

ThinkFinger itself will not support AuthenTec readers. However, there
are efforts about to start in order to have a unified Linux solution for
different fingerprint readers. You can expect discussions on that also
on this list.
