Hello,
sudo tf-tool --verify-user n2
ThinkFinger 0.3 (http://thinkfinger.sourceforge.net/)
Copyright (C) 2006, 2007 Timo Hoenig <***@suse.de>

Initializing...USB error (could not claim interface 0: Device or resource busy).
Could not claim USB device.

Output of "sudo lsof | grep usb" is:

usb-stora 2335 root cwd DIR 8,1 4096 2 /
usb-stora 2335 root rtd DIR 8,1 4096 2 /
usb-stora 2335 root txt unknown
/proc/2335/exe
hald 5010 haldaemon mem REG 8,1 58046
3133877 /var/lib/misc/usb.ids
gdm 6912 root mem REG 8,1 28376

gnome-key 6952 n2 12u CHR 189,513
13274 /dev/bus/usb/005/002

Which process claims the device?
I am running thinkfinger on Ubuntu 7.10. (Gutsy Gibbon)
Thanks for help - Daniel.

Hi Daniel,
sudo tf-tool --verify-user n2
Does it work if you 'su -' first and then run tf-tool?
