Hi all,
I've got a Sony UX, probably with the exact same sensor as the SZ series
sony someone else was having trouble with. I tried the same suggested
procedure on mine, and got the same result, so it's not that your
fingerprint reader is broken.
If anyone needs someone to test anything out on one of these sony
readers, just ask, and I'd be glad to do anything to help.
--scott
This should have been after a fresh boot (not sure if hibernate counts),
but I'll try again later as well.
output:
"
***@brick:/usr/src/finger/thinkfinger# ./tf-init/tf-init
***@brick:/usr/src/finger/thinkfinger# ./tf-tool/tf-tool --acquire
--verbose
Running in verbose mode.
* Mode: acquire
* Biometric identification record file: '/tmp/test.bir'
Initializing... done.
tf-tool: TF_STATE_COMM_FAILED (255)
