Hi,
I'm trying to get the pam module work on debian/unstable.
Unfortunately pam_prompt() seems to be missing.
What package does provide this library function on Debian?

Jan 23 22:46:33 europa su[5165]: PAM unable to
dlopen(/lib/security/pam_thinkfinger.so)
Jan 23 22:46:33 europa su[5165]: PAM [dlerror:
/lib/security/pam_thinkfinger.so: undefined symbol: pam_prompt]
Jan 23 22:46:33 europa su[5165]: PAM adding faulty module:
/lib/security/pam_thinkfinger.so

TIA for any hints,
Bruno

Please check link [1].

BTW, as soon as a working pam_thinkfinger (with PAM-0.79) will be in
the SVN, I'll prepare the Debian package.

Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca

Hi Luca,

BTW, as soon as a working pam_thinkfinger (with PAM-0.79) will be in
the SVN, I'll prepare the Debian package.
Great info - thanks for the effort.

I indeed overlooked this requirement.
In the meantime I recognized that it won't be easy to put a plain
Linux-PAM-0.81 over the debian install,
so I will wait for the package :-)

bye, Bruno
