Hello
I just wanted to inform you, that the Thinkpad R61 (8918-5QG)
now uses a reader with the USB ID 147e:2016 too.
This is disturbing as the brother T61 seems to use the old ID.
Well maybe the changed the hardware now too. You never know.
I know this different ID/device has been already reported.
So this is more or less a warning that you can't depend on the
model alone when it comes to T61/R61 Thinkpads.
(They also droped the Synaptics pad for an unsupported ALPS.
But that's a different beast, not belonging to this list)
I hope you get your hands on such a device some day. I'll keep
watching the mailing list and hope for the best.
